Watching for the eclipse. NOT!!!!

Jason came home last night and really wanted to see the eclipse that was suppose to happen. Since the haze has been so bad down here in the valley, he decided to take our telescope up to Heber City. We decided to call Zach's friend Ben to see if he wanted to go. We thought that this would be a good educational trip for two 6th graders. So shortly after 6 p.m. the boys loaded up the car and headed to Heber. After they got up there they could not see ANYTHING. No haze, but clouds. You can see in the pics it was snowing a little bit. It almost looks like stars.

Where oh where is that eclipse?
Is it over here?
No, maybe over here.
No eclipse to be found, so the boys had a little fun before heading out for a hamburger and home.

A day snowshoeing

President's Day, Jason took Zach and our niece Nikelle snowshoeing. Nikelle was down the night before for a family party, stayed the night and when with the boys the next day. They went up American Fork Canyon where Jason goes each week with his bike club.

The gang!!!
Still going!!!!
The cousins!!!!
Look at the hill they are going up. Jason said that they went up a couple of these. What a workout. Jason said they both did AWESOME!!!! I am glad that it was a sunny day for them. When they were done, they found our 14 year old scouts from the ward sledding at the dam. So Nikelle and Zach got to take a couple of runs down the hill on some sleds. After they were done, they took Nikelle to the dentist to get a filling. Hope you are O.K. Nikelle and thanks for spending the day with the boys.

The Two Boys!!! Cute As Ever!!!

Of course, we had to get pictures of the boys while Liz was here. So we found matching shirts again and took some pics indoors and out. It was hard to do any outdoors because of all the snow. But I think we got some pretty good ones.

Cute as two bugs.
Look at me!!!
Max was very excited to be outside. It was really hard for Zach to hold him. So that is why we decided to come inside. But this still a cute pitcure.
This was my favorite picture out of all of the ones that we took. I can't believe that we have two blue eyes boys in our family.
I know this is not a picture of the boys, but Jason took this picture because mom kept saying that she wishes that Berney could see how much snow we have on our mountains. She thought that he would be quite surprised. So this is for you Berney!!!! For those of you who have never been to our home, this is the view we have out our front window.

A visit from the Family

Last week Glenda's Mom, Sister, Max and Liz's 2 dogs came to visit for 5 days. Of course, Max was the center of attention. We can not believe how big he has gotten. Just in the five days he was here, he sat up by himself for more the 3 seconds and he learned how to roll out of the play mate that we had on the floor.

DINNER TIME!!!!
He loves to have a bath. Plus, he loves to look at himself in the mirror. All he could do was laugh and try and touch his face through the mirror.
Aunt Glenda TRYING to cut Max's fingernails. Not an easy task with a 7 month old.
Grandma Jones and Max at her computer. She had her video camera on and was trying to get him to respond to himself on the computer.
This is how he always is, except when he is hungry or tired.

We all had so much fun. I think the three girls did more shopping then I did at Christmas time. With it being Presidents Day weekend, we all found some great deals. I am not usually that lucky to find great deals, but this last weekend I did. LUCKY ME!!!! Thanks to Jason and Zach for being such good sports and babysitting for us every once in awhile. We love ya!!!!
